A 32-year-old Chatham man was arrested for shoplifting, after being accused of stealing some sausages from a local retailer.
The Chatham-Kent police say the crime was caught on video. While viewing the video, police recognized the suspect. Shortly afterwards he was located and arrested for the theft and outstanding warrants issued by London Police. He is being held in custody for a bail hearing,
The suspect was charged with theft, possession of stolen property and two counts of failing to comply with a recognizance.
