Chatham man charged with drunk driving: OPP

The OPP arrested a 20-year-old Chatham man for drinking and driving early Saturday morning.

Just before 1 a.m. police pulled over a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck at highway 40 and Colborne Street. When police spoke with the driver it was suspected he had been drinking.

Police say they did further tests and due to the results of those tests have charged Michael Libbrecht with driving with over 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood.

He has a court appearance in Chatham for July 4.
