One man sustained a minor injury in a three-car accident at McNaughton Avenue and Victoria Street just before 5 p.m. this afternoon.
A grey Honda Accord had its front end ripped off in the collision. The other two vehicles, a brown Pontiac Montana van and a blue Ford Mustang sustained less damage. Airbags were deployed in all the vehicles.
A witness described hearing the crash from inside his home and said it was fortunate there was only one accident at the intersection today. The witness blamed construction on St. Clair for driving excess traffic through the intersection and he said drivers were rushing the red light.
No damage estimate was available. The intersection was closed temporarily but has since been reopened.
