Yesterday morning police conducted radar enforcement on Gladstone Avenue in Chatham, in response to a traffic complaint of speeding vehicles in the area.
Just before 8 a.m. an officer observed a man driving a vehicle eastbound on Gladstone Avenue. The officer initiated a traffic stop to inform the driver of the speeding complaint. Police then realized the man is serving three licence suspensions for failing to complete remedial measures, unpaid fines and a Highway Traffic Act judgment.
The 45-year-old Chatham man was charged with three counts of driving while under suspension. His vehicle was impounded for seven days.
