Last night at around 11:45 a.m. a 19-year-old man stopped police to report he was the victim of an armed robbery on Edgar Street.

A lone suspect approached the victim on a bicycle, produced a knife and demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim refused and was then threatened with bodily harm. The victim handed over a quantity of cash to the suspect who then fled on the bicycle. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, early to mid-20’s in age, riding a mountain style bike, robins blue and white plaid checkered shirt, blue jeans, has a goatee brownish or red in colour and a dark coloured baseball cap.
