Man attempts to walk out of Superstore with $550 of goods: police

C-K Police 202Police responded to the Real Canadian Superstore on St. Clair Street for a shoplifting complaint at about 4 p.m. yesterday.

A  man entered the store and was taking items and placing them in grocery bags. He left the store without making an attempt to pay, according to police. The value of the merchandise was $550.

A 34-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with theft and possession of stolen property. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
