GATINEAU, Qc - CBC is reporting that suspended senator Patrick Brazeau has been arrested overnight in Gatineau, Que.
The Canadian Press has not been able to independently verify the reports that Brazeau is in custody.
The CBC report says Brazeau is to be charged with possession of cocaine, assault, uttering death threats and breaking his parole conditions.
At the time of his arrest, the reports say he was apparently intoxicated at a residence on Labrosse Boulevard.
