Yesterday at about 5:15 pm the Chatham-Kent Police Service Intelligence Unit with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team executed a search warrant for drugs at a Chatham residence on Houston Street.

A 31-year-old male was taken into custody and is being held for bail on a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

A replica hand gun as well as methamphetamine was recovered and seized from the residence.
