Mike Pilon accepts $25,000 prize from Marianne Morencie, general manager of OLG Slots at Dresden Raceway.
Dresden, ON – Mike Pilon from Dresden is ecstatic after winning big with Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s (OLG) Licence To Win promotion. Mike was awarded his prize on April 15, during the OLG Slots at Dresden Raceway’s Grand Prize Event. The event is held for qualifying members of OLG’s Winner Circle Rewards program. Pilon could have selected one of several brand new 2014 General Motors vehicles models, however he instead opted for the $25,000 cash prize.
“I’m overwhelmed, dumbfounded and excited,” said Pilon, “I’ve entered the Licence To Win promotion for a number of years now, but this is the first time that I qualified for the Grand Prize Event.”
This is the first big win for Pilon, who has been a patron of the facility since it opened 13 years ago.
“Congratulations to Mike! It’s always exciting when one of our patrons wins a top prize,” said Marianne Morencie, general manager of OLG Slots at Dresden Raceway. “That we partner with local vendors on this promotion makes this a great community win as well.”
Licence To Win is a yearly promotion, taking place at all 19 OLG slots and casino locations. The promotion offers 24 vehicles to be won across Ontario.
