A Chatham woman has been arrested for harassment after a 57-year-old man, who is known to her, complained about statements she made in March.

The woman was making statements both derogatory and harassing in nature. Attempts were made to locate the woman, however when unsuccessful, a warrant was issued for her arrest. Yesterday morning, police her on Taylor Avenue and she was arrested. The 45-year-old woman has been charged with criminal harassment. She was released with conditions and a court date.
