The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for being unlawfully at large.
On February 21, 2021 the man was convicted of criminal offences and given an intermittent sentence to be served at the Chatham jail on weekends.
On March 22 he failed to report to the Chatham jail as required. A warrant was issued for his arrest and yesterday morning he turned himself in to police headquarters. The 32-year-old Howard Township man has been charged with being unlawfully at large. He was transported to the court-house for a bail hearing.
