A Chatham man was sent to hospital and his attacker charged with assault and threatening after an incident on Sunday.

Two man, both 35, were out drinking and returned to one of the mens residence. A verbal argument led to one man being punched and threatened. The victim was treated at the hospital for facial injuries and released.

Yesterday afternoon, the accused turned himself into police headquarters where he was charged and released with conditions and a court date.
