An 18-year-old Chatham man faces charges of theft and possession of stolen property after a Chrysler Neon was reported stolen from a residence on Selton Line in Orford Township.

The car was reported stolen on Saturday when a woman told police her unlocked car had been taken. She received a message later that day from the accused, who she knows, saying he had the car.

Last night, around 11:15 p.m. police located the man on Grand Avenue East in Chatham when he was arrested and charged. He was released with conditions and a court date.
