Two of Chatham-Kent’s most wanted arrested

Most WantedThe Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted for two counts of breach of probation, drug possession and failing to attend court. Around 5 p.m. yesterday, police found the man on Adelaide Street North in Chatham and he was arrested. The 27-year-old man of no fixed address has been held in custody for a bail hearing.

On January 10, 2014, police responded to a disturbance on Sandy Street in Chatham. A 35-year-old woman reported that she had been assaulted by a man. The man fled the residence before police arrival and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Just before 6 p.m. yesterday, police found him on Queen Street in Chatham and he was arrested. Upon being searched he was also found to be in possession of a small plastic baggie with a substance believed to be crystal meth. The 44-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with drug possession and held in custody for a bail hearing.
