Tupperville raid nets $178,000 of drugs: police

On February 1, the Chatham-Kent police intelligence section, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) and Police Dog Services (PDS) executed two search warrants in the town of Tupperville, within the municipality of Chatham-Kent.

Police estimate $178,000 worth of drugs were seized and removed from our streets.

Eric Dixon, 25 years, and Heather McAuley, 25 years, both of John Park Line in Tupperville were arrested and charged with:

  • possession cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking
  • possession of meth for the purpose of trafficking
  • possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
  • unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • careless storage of a firearm
  • careless storage of ammunition

Matthew Dixon, 26 years, of Centre Side Road in Chatham Township was also arrested and charged with possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.

In addition to the drugs, the intelligence section of the CKPS also seized one pick-up truck, two cars, three motorcycles, five firearms and a quantity of ammunition for further investigation.

All three charged individuals have been held in custody for a bail hearing.
