OPP say many cars are stuck on the 401

Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are responding to several vehicles in the ditch on highway 401 in the Chatham-Kent area.

These collisions are preventable. Conditions are slippery in the area and Chatham-Kent OPP would like to caution drivers to slow down and leave lots of extra space between you and other vehicles.  Adjust your speed to match the road conditions.

We ask the public to be cautious as emergency crews are currently assisting motorists along the highway this morning.
