A man was killed this morning at about 10 a.m. by an eastbound VIA train at Sass Road.
Police are attempting to identify the man and notify his next of kin.
No-one on the train was injured. Passengers have been removed from the train and placed on buses.
Sass Side Road will be closed for several hours as police continue to investigate the accident. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
