Man caught with break-in tools while trying to get into a home: police

A report of a suspicious man led to his arrest on Donalda Drive this morning at about 1:15 a.m.

Police arrived and identified a man, who attempted to flee before being arrested, who was reportedly trying to break-in to a home.

Police found break-in tools on the suspect.

A 30-year-old Chatham man is charged with possession of break-in tools, escape police custody and possession of drugs. He was also breaching a condition of a previous release.

The man was held in custody for a bail hearing.
