Blenheim liquor store theft leads to arrest of two in Chatham

Two people were arrested in Chatham last night following a theft in Blenheim at the LCBO on Marlborough Street.

The two accused allegedly entered the store and took three bottles of liquor and left the store without paying for them, just after 7 p.m. At about 9:30 p.m. the two were found by CKPS officers on patrol in Chatham where they were arrested and charged.

A 40-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, both from Chatham, were released with a court date after both were charged with theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property.
