Tilbury teen charged after punch thrown

The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a male youth following an assault investigation.

On January 23, an 18-year-old Tilbury man contacted police to report that he had been assaulted. It is alleged that a 16-year-old Tilbury youth punched the man in the face resulting in medical attention being required.

Yesterday morning, the 16-year-old youth was arrested in Tilbury and charged with assault. He was released with several conditions and a court date.
