Snowmobile accident leaves Chatham man fighting for his life

s police 4A serious accident last night at about 5:30 p.m. has left a Chatham man fighting for his life in London.

The 31-year-old man was airlifted from the CKHA to London Health Sciences Centre, soon after arriving by land ambulance at CKHA.

The accident hapenned on Pain Court Line, between Bear Line Road and Winter Line Road.

A green Ford Windstar minivan and a black Ski-doo snowmobile collided when the minivan was making a turn. The driver of the minivan, a 45-year-old woman from Pain Court suffered minor injuries.

The total damage is estimated at $20,000.

The CKPS traffic unit is investigating this collision. Anyone with information is asked to contact constable Michael Pearce at 519-355-1092. Anonymous callers may contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
