Shoplifter arrested with over $900 worth of electronics

A man attempted to walk out of a St. Clair Street store with over $900 worth of electronics yesterday.

Police found the man in the area and arrested him for theft and possession of stolen property.

The 31-year-old Chatham man went into the store just before 5 p.m. and spent the night in police custody awaiting a bail hearing today.
