Police turn to the public after 16 year-old-girl assaulted in Wallaceburg

s police1The Chatham-Kent police are requesting the public`s assistance following an assault in Wallaceburg.

On Monday, January 13, at about 7:15 p.m. a 16-year-old girl was walking through Crothers Park. At this time, an unknown man approached the girl and assaulted her. She sustained minor injuries. Police are investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to contact constable Shawn Mungar at 519-436-6600 ext 288 or 519-436-6616. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers and may be eligible for a cash reward.
