TORONTO - Justin Bieber has walked in to a downtown Toronto police station, where reports say he will be charged with assault.
The pop star was escorted by several police officers and a body-guard through a teeming crowd of journalists and screaming fans.
Several media outlets are reporting that the pop star will face a charge in connection to an alleged assault involving a limousine driver last month in the city.
Police told The Canadian Press in December that they were looking into allegations that a member of Bieber’s entourage assaulted a limo driver who was driving the Canadian pop star and several others.
A police spokesman said at the time that it was unclear whether the teen heart throb himself was involved in the alleged attack on Dec. 29, or simply one of his companions.
Earlier today, the 19-year-old pop star pleaded not guilty in Florida to charges of driving under the influence after driving nearly twice the speed limit on a Miami Beach street.
He also pleaded not guilty to resisting arrest and driving with an expired license.
