A brazen attack on a car on Park Street in the wee hours on Saturday morning destroyed the vehicle.
The silver Chrysler 300 was fire-bombed at about 4 a.m. Neighbours reported it as a white Cadillac.
“I heard a car go by and two seconds later I heard a big bang”, said a neighbour who identified herself as Samara. “I ran over to their house to tell him his car was on fire.”
The Chatham-Kent Fire Department extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported. Local police have made no comment about the fire-bombing. Messages sent to Chief Dennis Poole have not been returned.
