The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a harassment complaint.
In October of 2013, police received information that an Alberta man was contacting his ex-wife’s residence in Raleigh Township to check on the well-being of his son and not obeying by his custody agreement which stipulated when the man could call. It is alleged that the man left multiple messages on the answering machine and was calling at all hours of the day and night. A warrant was issued for the man as he was living out of province.
Yesterday, the man attended the courthouse in Chatham and he was arrested. The 38-year-old man has been charged with criminal harassment. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
