The Sertoma Foundation of Canada, operating on behalf of the Thamesville Sertoma and LaSertoma Clubs, presented a cheque for $20,000 to the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent.

The donated funds will cover the cost of specialized audiology equipment needed by the centre’s audiology Chatham-Kent department. This is the third significant donation the club has made to the centre to help fund hearing and speech related services.

The auditory brainstem response testing equipment is the only system of its kind west of London, circumventing the need for people to travel. Tests can be performed while a patient is conscious or not.
