An accident on Friday where both vehicles careened into a building on Raleigh Street is under investigation still and the CKPS is reaching out to the public for witnesses.

On December 27, around 4:15 p.m. emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on Raleigh Street near Richmond Street involving a silver car and silver pick-up truck. A 42-year-old Chatham woman and 17-year-old Chatham male youth were involved. No injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $30,000.
