Vehicle crosses centre line and causes accident

It is the kind of car accident that many drivers fear. An oncoming car crosses the centre line and head towards you.

That is what an 18-year-old Ridgetown woman faced yesterday morning as an oncoming vehicle, driven by a 22-year-old Ridgetown man, crossed the centre line and struck her. No injuries occurred, however an estimated $4500 in damage was caused to the vehicles.

The accident happened on Ridge Line between Scane Road and Main Street West.

The man was charged with careless driving.
