Ottawa woman arrested for drinking and driving in Chatham

Police stopped a car on Wellington Street at about 2:30 a.m. this morning and arrested the driver for drinking and driving.

After stopping the vehicle police determined the driver had been drinking and a road side breath analysis was done. When the test registered a fail, the driver was arrested and taken to headquarters where further tests revealed the Ottawa woman was drinking and driving. She has been charged and has a court date in Chatham at a later date.
