Man arrested driving 168 km/h on the 401

OPPThe Chatham-Kent OPP have announced the arrest of a man who was driving at 168 km/h on the 401 on Saturday.

Just after midnight on December 28 an OPP officer was conducting radar enforcement on the 401 eastbound near Kennesserie Road.

He saw an Audi that appeared to be exceeding the speed limit. Radar was used to confirm a speed of 168 km/hr.

Jia Da He, 19, from London, has been charged with racing a motor vehicle. His driver’s licence has been suspended and his vehicle is impounded for seven days.
