Loblaws recall on outdoor Christmas lights expanded
Loblaw Companies Limited (Loblaw) is expanding its voluntary recall of Life at Home 70 Count Outdoor/Indoor Christmas lights to include two additional colours, Pure White and Red.
Customers are advised to discontinue using all recalled Life at Home LED 70 count Outdoor Christmas lights, because of the possibility of loose or exposed wires. No injuries or property damage has been reported. The risks include shock, electrocution or fire.
These two additional products were sold between September 2013 and December 17, 2013, nationally at Loblaw banner stores.

Loblaws has removed all affected products from sale in stores.
The recalled lights were sold in Ontario at Fortinos, Loblaws, Extra Foods, Freshmart, No Frills, Real Canadian Wholesale Club, Real Canadian Superstore, Your Independent Grocer, Zehrs and Apex.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled lights and return the product to any Loblaw banner store for a full refund (including without a receipt).
