‘Get a flu shot or wear a mask’ policy considered for CKHA

In an effort to get healthcare workers vaccinated for the flu, a policy is under consideration at the CKHA that requires workers who fail to be vaccinated wear a mask on the job.

53% of local health care workers have been vaccinated as of November 22, slightly fewer than last year. To increase that number the CKHA launched a two-week campaign to get vaccination rates over 60%.

There has been no flu outbreak this year in CK, although there are reported cases in Windsor-Essex and Middlesex.
