The Chatham-Kent police have recovered a stolen truck thanks to the power of social media.
This morning, news was released that a 1996 GMC pick-up truck, bearing the plates 222 8EF, was stolen from a business on McNaughton Avenue.
A sharp-eyed citizen saw the truck parked on Water Street around 11 a.m. and alerted police. Renee Cowell of the CKPS says the citizen saw the report on Facebook. Police recovered the undamaged truck and notified the owner.
