325 vehicles stopped last night by RIDE

Community patrol police and the traffic management unit stepped-up efforts to make the roads safer this weekend, with RIDE programs being conducted in the communities of Chatham and Ridgetown last night.

A total of 325 vehicles were checked, with three road-side tests being administered. Police also charged three drivers with driving while under suspension and made two arrests for drug possession and one arrest for a driver who had an outstanding warrant.
