Last night between 11 p.m. and midnight, the Chatham-Kent Police Service conducted R.I.D.E. programs in the communities of Wallaceburg and Louisville. Approximately 50 vehicles were checked at each location, we happy to report no roadside tests were administered. Thanks to all that committed to driving sober last night contributing to everyone’s safety.
Home James is a local program which encourages responsible behaviour with regards to impaired driving. This is a free, confidential, volunteer-driven service offered to any person who has been drinking or who simply does not feel fit to drive his/her vehicle home.
Should you need a ride home this weekend, please call 519-351-3353 and a team of three volunteers will come and drive you home safely in your own car.
