Scribendi founder listed as 83rd top female entrepreneur in Canada

Chatham-Kent’s own Chandra Clarke has ranked 83rd on the PROFIT W100 list, the 15th annual ranking of Canada’s top female entrepreneurs. This is the fourth consecutive year Clarke has made the list compiled by PROFIT magazine. Clarke is the president and founder of editing and proofreading company

“We are very pleased to have made the list for the fourth year in a row,” said Clarke. “This kind of recognition demonstrates’s consistent high performance and growth.”

Clarke has been recognized by PROFIT: Your Guide to Business Success magazine, which ranks Canada’s top female entrepreneurs on a composite score based on the size, growth rate, and profitability of their businesses.

Among the nearly one million female entrepreneurs in Canada, the W100 profiles the country’s 100 most successful female business owners.

“This year’s W100 are a dream group of ambitious, forward‐thinking entrepreneurs who defy outdated notions of female entrepreneurship,” said Ian Portsmouth, publisher and editor of PROFIT. “They are running sophisticated and sizeable businesses in challenging industries and finding new ways to operate and innovate for growth and sustainability.”

W100 is Canada’s largest annual celebration of entrepreneurial achievement by women.
