Police have arrested a man who repeatedly broke in to the same house in Wallaceburg.
On January 16, a woman reported that someone forced their way into her home on Water Street, causing $100 damage to a window. An XBox 360 was stolen with two games. Value of the theft was about $400.
Two days later, the woman reported that someone had entered her home again and stolen a 40” RCA television valued at $300.
Police found the stolen items and identified the man responsible for both break and enters. A warrant was then issued for his arrest.
On March 6, he was arrested and released with conditions pending a future court date.
On June 12, he failed to attend court and another warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday morning, police located the man and he was arrested on the outstanding warrant.
The 32-year-old Wallaceburg man was transported to court for a bail hearing. He has been charged with two counts of break and enter, two counts of theft under $5000, possession of stolen property and failing to attend court.
