Male youth arrested for throwing a teenage female to the ground

On October 3, a verbal argument between a male youth and a teenaged female in Tilbury escalated into a physical confrontation. As he was yelling and swearing, he grabbed the girl and threw her to the ground.

Witnesses aided the girl and pushed him away so she was able to get up. Attempts by police were made to find him, however when unsuccessful, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Yesterday afternoon police found and arrested the 17-year-old Tilbury male and charged him with assault. He was released with conditions and a court date.
