Kentucky historian in Chatham tomorrow for War of 1812 events

Kentucky National Guard Historian John Trowbridge

Kentucky National Guard historian John Trowbridge is here in Chatham-Kent and will be helping Chatham-Kent commemorate 200 years of peace between our great nations with a Kentucky perspective of involvement in the war of 1812.

Join us Friday October 4 at 10:30 am at the Chatham Municipal Centre for the Kentucky Flag Raising and at 2:30 pm at the St. Clair College Capitol Theatre. There Trowbridge will make a power point presentation and documentary entitled Remember the Raisin: Kentucky in the War of 1812. A time of question & answer will follow. Admission is by donation.

Our special guest will be making his way to visit the archaeological dig in Tecumseh Park as well. At 8 pm Mr. Trowbridge will return to the St. Clair College Capitol Theatre for War Finds a Way: Fairfield 1813.
