Applications for municipal funding for community events now available

Municipality of Chatham-KentThe Municipality of Chatham-Kent has announced that applications will be available on Tuesday, October 15, for the 2014 Community Partnership Fund (CPF).

Council allocates funds each year for distribution to community groups through the CPF process. Groups that have projects in mind for 2014 are invited to apply for funding of up to 50% of project costs, to a maximum of $10,000 per project ($5,000 per project for festivals and events).

The deadline for applications is Friday, December 13, at 4:30 p.m.

Grant guidelines and application forms will be available on Tuesday, October 15, at all municipal centres, information desks and public libraries throughout Chatham-Kent. They will also be available online.

Since its start in 2000, the CPF has turned $2.6 million in municipal investment into $10.4 million worth of community projects.
