Spurned man nearly causes car accident with ex girlfriend

High drama on the roads of Chatham-Kent yesterday.

A man who was recently dumped by his girlfriend found her at her grandparents farm, at 8 a.m., on Talbot Street in Merlin. An argument ensued about their break-up, when the woman left in her vehicle. He followed her eastbound on Talbot Street, driving aggressively by following her very closely. The man then drove in front of her many times, hitting his brakes hard, forcing her to do the same to avoid an accident.

He sits in custody this morning waiting for a bail hearing after being charged with harassment and dangerous driving.
