The Terry Fox run in Chatham will be held at Kingston Park on Sunday, September 15th. It is the 33rd annual run in Chatham.
Registration starts at 8:30 and the run begins at 10 a.m. Walk 1km or 5km and run 1km, 5km or 10km. There will be water stations at the start/finish and at the half way mark for the 5km and 10km events.There will be hotdogs, fries and pop for sale for $5 to support the Terry Fox Foundation as well as t-shirts. Bring the family to support Terry’s Marathon of Hope in supporting innovative cancer research.

Route: Starting at St. George Street at Camden Street and proceed south on St. George Street (North Street), west on Holden Street, south on Lorne Street, west on Park Street, north on Wilson, east on Holden Street, north on Fuller Street, east on Hughes Street, north on Centre Street, west on Brown Street, north on West Street, west on Lindsey Street, north on Metcalfe Street, south on Centre Street, west on St. John Street, north on Metcalfe Street and north on St. George Street to continue cycle.

Route: Start at Civic Square Park and proceed east on James Street, north on Nelson Street, west on Sydenham Gardens Blvd, west on Mount Pleasant Crescent, north on Wilson Street, west on McKee Road, north on Nelson Street, east on Langstaff Line, south on Water Street, east on Park Street, south on Napier Street, east on Lawrence Avenue, south Dora Drive, west on Margaret Avenue, continuing west on James Street and returning to Civic Square Park.

10km route: Starting at Royal Canadian Legion on Broadway Street and proceeding west on Ebenezer Street, north on Maple Street, east on York Street, north on Erie Street, east on Palmer Street, south on Victoria Avenue, east on Cathcart Street, through Ridgetown College Campus, south on Hillsdale Avenue, south on Elizabeth Street, west on Warwick Street, south on Cecile Street, west on Myrtle Street, north on Erie Street, west on Oak Street, south on Richard Street, west on Bernard Street, south on Fern Avenue, west on Kyle Drive, north on Goodal Avenue, north on Maple Street, east on Ebenezer Street to the Royal Canadian Legion on Broadway Street.
5km route: Starting at Royal Canadian Legion on Broadway Street and proceeding west on Ebenezer Street, north on Maple Street, east on York Street, north on Erie Street, east on Palmer Street, south on Victoria Avenue, east on Cathcart Street, south on Head Street, west on Main Street to Royal Canadian Legion on Broadway Street.

2km route: Starting at the Blenheim Arena at 199 King Street and proceeding south on King Street, west on Regent Street, turning around at the west end of Regent Street and proceeding east on Regent Street, south on Little Street, east on Snow Avenue, north on King Street and concluding at the Blenheim Arena.
5 & 10km route: Starting at the Blenheim Arena at 199 King Street and proceeding south on King Street, east on Stanley Avenue, south on Marlborough Street, north on Chatham Street South, east on Charles Street, north on Sandys Street, east on John Street, north on Jackson Street, east on Talbot Street East, north on Victoria Street, north on Mango Lane, east on Teal Drive, east on Maxwell Street, north on Lumley Street, west on Anger Street, south on Chatham Street North, west on McGregor Street, west on Cameron Street, south on Little Street, west on Wellington Street, south on Hidden Valley Road, east on Regent Street, south on King Street and concluding at the Blenheim Arena.

Route: South on Dupuis Avenue, west on Elizabeth Street, east on Jeffery Street West, east on Helen Street, south on Rose Avenue, east on Laurentia Drive, east on Rose Avenue, north on Park Lane, west on Stewart Street, north on Carlyle Street, west on Fort Street, north on Foster Street, west on Canal Street East, west on Canal Street West, south on Dupuis Avenue.

The Drumhead Service Parade, held by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 206, is also in Tilbury on Sunday and a road closure is in effect.
Route: Starting at Legion Branch 206 at 4 Stewart Street and proceeding west on Stewart Street, north on Queen Street to the Cenotaph at Canal Street for service and then proceed back to Legion Branch 206 along the same route.
