York Regional police extradite Chatham woman

Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman who had several warrants to her name.

While on patrol Sunday night, a Chatham-Kent police officer noticed two people cycling on Selton Line. While speaking with the two cyclists  the officer discovered that the 34-year-old female from Chatham was wanted on several warrants from three different police services.

The  female cyclist was arrested and taken to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters where she was held until officers of the York Regional Police Service came and took custody of the woman in order to answer to her outstanding charges.
