Suspicious man walks into daycare and asks for a child who does not know him

OPP(MORAVIANTOWN, ON) The OPP are investigating after a strange man entered a daycare asking about a 6-year-old child.

On the 18th of July, at 12:15 p.m. a man attended the Delaware First Nation Community Centre Summer Day Care asking for the child. He was asked the leave as the child did not recognized him.

The suspicious person is described as a white male, about 60 years old, clean-shaven, receding hair line, white hair, about 5′ 6″ to 5′ 7″, heavy-set, with a pronounced belly. He left the scene in what is described as a newer model, white or beige Ford Escape.

The OPP Crime Unit is interested in speaking with anyone who may have any information about this incident. Any person with information should immediately contact the Chatham-Kent OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 352-1122, or their nearest police authority.
