Stolen car found in a ditch

Chatham-Kent police have recovered a car just outside of Chatham that was reported stolen on Sunday.

Police located a stolen car on Dillon Rd. upside down, and in a ditch Monday afternoon.

Just before 9:00 a.m. on Sunday; police went to a residence on St. Michael Ave. in Chatham in regards to a stolen car. According to police, sometime after midnight unknown persons stole a 1997 blue Pontiac Sunfire.

Around 12:30 p.m. Sunday,  officers located the car upside down in a ditch on Dillon Rd. There was no one in the area of the car; the car was towed and is pending further investigation.
