Attempted robbery at Burger King on Grand

policelogoPolice are currently investigating an attempt robbery in Chatham last night.

At about 10:30 p.m. a lone suspect entered Burger King at 252 Grand Avenue West and demanded money. The employee refused to give the suspect any money so the suspect exited the restaurant. The suspect was last seen fleeing the area on foot towards Thames Lea Plaza. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a male between the ages of 17-23 years, about 5’8” to 5’10” tall with brown eyes. The suspect was wearing a black ski mask with an open face, navy blue UCC hoodie which was pulled up over his head, black pants and black nylon gloves. He was also carrying a blue and black shoe string bag.
