On March 5, members of the Chatham-Kent police intelligence branch conducted an investigation about the trafficking of cocaine and methamphetamine.
The warrant was executed at a motel on Grand Avenue East in Chatham and three parties were found inside the motel. The search resulted in police finding prescription drugs, cocaine, methamphetamines, and drug paraphernalia.
Three Chatham residents were arrested a 66-year-old female, a 50-year-old female, and a 24-year-old male. All three of them were charged with possession of cocaine for trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for trafficking, possession of stolen property worth more than $5000.
All three people have been held for a bail hearing.
