Update: An arrest has been made in this case.
Police are looking for information on a robbery attempt early this morning in Chatham.
At about 1:20 a.m. police responded to a business on Grand Avenue East about a robbery. The store employee reported that a man walked into the store brandishing a knife at the counter while demanding money. The store employee threw a pot of hot coffee towards the man causing him to flee without obtaining any money. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 5’5”-5’8” with a thin build.
