Last night police from the Chatham-Kent police intelligence unit and Critical Incident Response Team executed a warrant at a residence on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg.

As a result of the search, a quantity of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, cash, and weapons were seized.

In total seven people, including one young offender, were arrested.

Several charges of drug and weapons related offences were laid.

The case remains under investigation.
